Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTSReliable transportation and working telephone as required by the nature of the position.Education / Licensure:Graduation from an approved School of Practical/Vocational Nursing and current state Licensed Practical Nurse license.Experience:Six (6) months experience as a practical/vocational nurse in a hospital, nursing home or home care setting within the last three (3) years is preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESKnowledge of patient evaluation and triage procedures. Ability to provide care to patients at remote locations and demonstrate good nursing judgment with minimum supervision. Ability to deal effectively and courteously with clients, families and co-workers. Ability to interact and exhibit an empathetic attitude toward the sick and elderly. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
