We compete on results.The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for developing and executing sales plans to garner new business as well as cross sales within assigned accounts and territories. The core responsibility is the sale of all of SpecialtyCare's clinical service lines to health systems and hospitals. The Vice President of Business Development reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Business Development. This is an individual contributor role. This role will require 75% travel., * Develop and execute a sales plan inclusive of lead development to meet/exceed sales targets by service line * Complete sales that are consistent with the company's margin targets that then perform to forecasted expectations * Prioritizes and achieves the majority of sales with pre-defined targeted accounts * Deliver SpecialtyCare's Value Proposition to hospital Administration and C-Suite* Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field; master's degree preferred * A track record of success in selling into hospitals and health systems with preference for sales around the operating room environment * A minimum of five years of experience selling to C-Suite in the * Understands delivery of healthcare services and has demonstrated ability to operate in this environment * Experience with contract management and delivery of clinical services to hospitals and other health care systems * Prior experience in supporting sales and business growth preferred The Successful Candidate: The successful candidate must bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional and personal values that complement the team and company vision.
