IBM's Technical Delivery Services Center is focused on increasing delivery quality and bringing together all IBM worldwide service delivery capabilities for Strategic Outsourcing. Please note that this position is co-located with other employees on site at the Delivery Center in Columbia, MO. No remote\" or work from home\" opportunities at the Columbia Delivery Center. IBM''s Delivery Center in Columbia, MO is seeking talented Trainer/Writers to develop and deliver training and documentation on Incident, Problem and Change (IPC) Tools for internal and external clients. Primary Responsibilities: * Clearly articulate training and write documentation that is easily understood by intended audience (American English native speakers) * Work with Information and Productivity Services Team Lead/Subject Matter Expert (SME) and project team members, as appropriate, to resolve documentation issues * Use approved team templates to develop or update documentation or training deliverables * Create and produce e-learning (CBT) training using Adobe Captivate 5 or other tools as required * Notify Team Lead (SME), department manager, and/or other appropriate persons of account issues Highly qualified candidates will: * possess strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills * have ability to identify gaps in best practices. Perform research and offer alternate solutions to SME''s; * be able to work independently and as part of a team; * demonstrate proven technical writing and organizational skills; * be flexible and easily adaptable to changing priorities; * be proficient in technical documentation development tools such as Microsoft Word 2003, Acrobat Professional 8.0, Visio 2002 and FrameMaker 8.0 or later; * be adept at establishing and leading group training sessions using online meeting tools; * be able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality; * be competent in defining, planning and managing project deliverables; * be capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision; * have experience in building and maintaining productive relationships with clients; and * be knowledgeable in user-centered design, accessibility and usability principles.
