Youth In Need, a nonprofit Children's Agency, is expanding our management team and is looking for an additional Assistant Center Manager for our Head Start/Early Head Start Center located in Montgomery City, MO. If you love kids, this is the job for you!

The Assistant Center Manager is responsible for assisting the Center Manager in supporting and supervising staff and addressing parental concerns while administering and consistently maintaining Head Start performance standards, state licensing regulations, NAEYC, accreditation standards, and Youth In Need policies and procedures.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Education/Administration or related field (with at least 18 hours in ECE) from an accredited college/university recognized by the US Department of Education. Candidates must have a minimum of three or more years' experience working with children ages 0-5, human service management, personnel management, and other management systems. Knowledge of early childhood development, Head Start, licensing standards, PAT, Project Construct, Reggio, NAEYC, and developmentally appropriate practices desirable. Starting $31,000+/yr based on experience.
