We are a growing, IT firm in Columbia, MO that is in need of a Professional Services Technician Superhero who can efficiently and effectively solve IT issues, configure equipment, and provide ridiculously good service onsite at a client office in Columbia, MO. In this role, you’ll be obsessed with making our customers love us, implementing new hardware and software solutions to increase our client's productivity. We want our customers to say “Wow” after every interaction they have with our staff. As a primary customer contact, your biggest responsibility will be bringing the “Wow” to our customers with excellent communication skills, technical know-how, and doing the job right the first time. But, don’t worry! You won’t be on your own at the client site – you will have the full support of the JS Computek LLC office who is available by phone, email, and IM. Here are some things you’ll do as a Professional Services Technician: Represent JS Computek LLC onsite at our client's sites in Mid Missouri. Install new software and hardware including: Servers; Workstations; Networking Equip; and Business Software apps. Working and refining project scope of work. Following up with clients during and after completion of projects and tasks to ensure excellent customer service and functionality. Live and breathe in our ticketing system that is used to communicate the status of projects to customers including resolutions and additional information gathering. Handle client inquiries with care, going the extra mile for our client every time. We can teach you the technical side of our business, but we can’t teach you to love working with our clients. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience working in a IT / Help Desk / Customer Service environment, demonstrated ability to operate, install, troubleshoot and repair Microsoft OS, Office Software, Server software, networking devices, and a service-driven personality. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), Remote tools and networking as well as experience with a domain environment on the desktop and server level. A Bachelor’s Degree in a technology field is not necessary but preferred. We are NOT looking for someone who is unmotivated, needs to be told what to do, and is not interested in learning new ways to do things. Why Work for Us?
