The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for engaging with business and technology for analysis, planning, requirements gathering and logical design of a software product by working with internal and external customers\. Employees in this position must understand develop an understanding of current products and technology in order to design and implement solutions to meet business needs\. Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring o Selects appropriate business analysis approach o Evaluates project complexity, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies o Identifies critical players and determines influence and relationship needs o Manages Requirements Approval and Change o Identifies and communicates risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope o Improves Business Analysis performance by taking preventative and corrective action o Complies with and upholds organizational standards o Responds to changing organizational priorities Requirements Gathering o Obtains needed information from customers to form requirements o Captures information provided in elicitation sessions o Validates requirements with customer Requirements Management & Communication o Manages changes to requirements o Traces requirements from business case to implemented solution o Prepares Requirements Documentation o Presents requirements in understandable format o Assesses impacts of changes to requirements Requirements Analysis o Prioritizes requirements effectively based on factors including business value, cost to deliver, time constraints o Organizes and synthesizes large amounts of information provided by customers o Understands appropriate use of various analysis techniques o Develops abstract models that describe a business domain o Identifies and communicates factors other than requirements that affect which solutions are viable Agile Competencies o Embrace change and adaptation \(positive change agent\) o Collaboration and building of effective business relationships \(building trust\) o Motivated and focused on delivering quality results in a team environment \(continuous evaluation and improvement\) o Clear, transparent and frequent communication o Continuous attention to technical excellence \(self\-development\) o Ability to work as part of a self\-organizing team **Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: Education: * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Computer Information Systems or related fields or equivalent work related experience\.
